i am a hard working and very physically active person working in the far north of alaska and having a home base on the kenai penninsula. one of my primary interests is whitewater kayaking and canoeing of which i have worked professionally throughout much of the "outside" including grand canyon of the colorado river and alaska. my interests in the out of doors include fishing, hunting, hiking, back country skiing/snowboarding, motorcylcling / bicycling, and general extended wilderness access trips. i am looking for an enthusiastic lady who can keep excess drama to at least very reasonable levels - understanding that my life is not without challenges and accepting that i do my best not to dwell on dark places either... i also hope that this wonderful gift to my universe will have a good grasp on living within her/our financial means - i am not a rich man (money wise!) by any stretch, my credit rating is good and i wish to keep it that way. i just expect someone i share time and plans with to have their head on their shoulders and feet firmly touching the ground (unless we happen to be dancing a good jig don't ya know!). anyway, not meaning to be heavy here. i'm sure we all have a story to tell of soulmates and lovers and pleasures and pains, or, at least we probably should if we haven't lived in a glass bubble all our lives. i hope the person i seek has good stories to tell anyway. i love life and all it's intricacy and personality...
