Tired of games and looking for a partner, best friend, a conspirator for fun/adventure/laughter and a lover to share my life. Someone that understands a relationship is an ongoing evolving entity of its own and is willing to work at understanding each other and their needs/likes/dislikes. I am basically a middle of the road person who has eclectic interests and enjoys exploring new interests...while I can do what I want by myself, or with friends, I think life is more fun and complete if you have a partner to share it with. I am not looking for a "prince" or a knight in shining amour to protect me from the world or support me financially, but would not penalize a "prince" or a knight if they showed up, especially if they don’t mind taking care of spiders. ; >
I am looking for someone that shares some of my interests, is willing to at least try to share/understand some of my interests and I will do the same. Don't get excited I don't do any of the following on a weekly basis but have tried and enjoyed: walking on the beach, in the mountains, passenger on motorcycle rides, travel, antiques, RV/camping trips, walking/exploring different areas. I enjoy minor white water rafting and would like to try class III, and maybe IV, anything to do with the water...sail, power, canoe, I will even row if that is the only way to get on the water, horseback ride, bowling-long ago so should be more entertainment for others lol, explore antique shops, flea markets, arts/crafts fairs, historical areas and points of, interest, fishing/crabbing/boating, quilting, stained glass/mosaics, crochet, sewing, home repair, cooking, reading, gardening, holding hands, cuddling by a warm fire and enjoying each others company. I have many more and always willing to try and explore something new. That said I am not a bar hopping/party person. I am just as happy at home spending time with a partner sharing thoughts, hugs, a dinner on the deck in the summer or time in front of a fireplace in the winter, holding hands, cuddling and kissing. Because I have many interests I enjoy a lively discussion on almost any subject--discussion-sharing of information and ideas-not arguments.
I am looking for someone that knows a good relationship starts as friends and works toward being a partner. Someone that wants an equal relationship (or as equal as anything in this world), willing to discuss major decisions rather than one or the other making the decision and/or having the fun of research/working on the details.
