I am a born Canadian but raised in US & South Africa..I live in Vancouver, and at times i find it a hard city to meet people . I am looking for a partner, best friend, and accomplice,someone else to laugh at me when I need laughing at.. i am Down to earth and most would say viciously funny with a not so PC streak. I love travel(it is part of my job, not office travel ick!, real travel with seriously sketchy taxis and restaurants you would never eat in back home,yet have no problem eating at when you travel. I live and love adventure travel, sea kayaking in the Chilean Fjords, Roaming Buenos Aires dynamic city, discovering the beauty of Romania's country side.Just to name a few.
I am a responsible adult who lives a life much younger than my years. My experiences in life have taught me to embrace life and live for today, but with an eye on the future.

I tend to look through the inhumanity and seek the humanity. It is there all around us if we just let down the blinders and see them.
With that said, smile at strangers and hold the door for someone, nice goes along way, in our hurried and work driven lives. You never know who needs a smile and a thank you to get through the day.
I have a career i love and friends scattered across the globe. (it makes for cheaper traveling).
I value the person not the job... i wish more people worked to live not lived to work.
Here are some of the things i believe in.

I am not average i do not live for the gym ( it kills me when i read a profile that says someone to work out with) the gyms are full of work out buddies, i like my work out OUT!, on my bike, hiking, sea kayaking.
i live in the city ( hence no car ), no need for one right now. i can enjoy the smells and loss of personal space that only public transit can provide.
I value intelligence and a smart witty woman is a turn on. Long convoluted conversations will always give me a rise. I love life and enjoy the show that humanity puts on for all of us.
I carry the airline maximum allowed amount of carry on emotional baggage and this has not made me hard to deal with but i feel has added to my charm. Now with that said my charm is eccentric and often bitting but for some and for the people i tend to get along with it works just fine.
