Hello,
I am a single, honest, hard-working, down to earth guy looking for the same in a lady. I am pretty quiet and reserved until I get to know someone and then I will talk your ear off. I am no model, but I have a good bit of my hair, most of my teeth, and all my fingers and
toes so hopefully that is a good start. I have been working out and have been somewhat successful in reducing my spare tire in the the last couple of months and still working on it, although the cold weather is a pretty tempting excuse not to keep at it. I have lived in Nashville my whole life except for my college days in Alabama and a couple of brief sojourns in Knoxville and Atlanta. I spend a lot of time at work and am trying to get out and have some fun outside of work. As they say, the work will be there long after you're gone. I don't have any children, but I do have a rather clingy Springer Spaniel. I do love kids, as they tend to keep you young and can be pretty entertaining. I also have the ability to retain absolutely useless trivia.
My friends would say that I am a true and loyal friend, and I would do anything for them or give them the shirt off of my back. They would also say that I am a good listener who will listen to their problems and not pass judgment. I have a rather dry sense of humor which sometimes crosses over into just plain corny. I enjoy sports of all kind, especially the Titans. I do have season tickets up in the nosebleed section (which does help with the exercise) and three fake replica Titan jerseys. I am also interested in local history, but not to the point where I go and dress up like a Civil War Soldier. I am more of a homebody, but I am not a total wallflower. I do like to go out every now and again and paint the town red, but my party-every-night days have passed. I like to go to concerts, but it seems that there haven't been too many good ones lately. If the concert is good enough, I have been know to make a road trip to see a good show. I also like to just go out explore place in Nashville and other areas outside of town that I have never been.
I would like to find someone that brings out the best in me, and allow me to bring out the best in them. I would like to find a best friend, companion, lover, confidant, and partner
in crime. Ok, not literally a partner in crime as I have never been arrested, and jail time is not very high among my life goals. I would like to find someone that I can share little secrets that only we share, and who is as honest with me as I would be with them. I would like to find someone who likes to just hang out and curl up together and watch a good movie as much as going out. I would like to be able to share little adventures together and just enjoy spending time with each other. I would like to have someone to take on little weekend excursions. She should be fun loving, caring, thoughtful, smart, and have a good sense of humor. In a perfect world, I would like to find someone who wants to be in a committed long term relationship, but I would also be happy to find a good friend, as most of my friends have either moved or have married and started their own families.
