I have been away from the dating scene for quite some time. I'm a bit old-fashioned, so writing about myself on-line seems strange. I was a teacher for 17 years, and have recently moved to the Claremore area to be closer to family. I have wrapped most of my life into my daughters, an 8 year old and a 20 year old. When my oldest daughter went away to college, I realized that soon I will be all alone. I want a man to be a friend and shares common goals. I haven't been in a relationship for a long time, and I realize that going to a bar is not my scene. I love kids, and would like a man who is involved in their child's lives. My parents raised me to take care of myself. I can frame a house, wire it, bait my own hook, yet still enjoy cooking Thanksgiving dinner and shopping.
I am interested in meeting someone who is fun and outgoing. I like to cook - but I also like going out to a nice restaurant once in a while. I want to find someone who would one day like to go on a cruise, travel to the ocean, or maybe go camping in Alaska.
