I live a fairly low-key life. I'm a father of 2 teenagers--one lives with me. My kids are the most important part of my life. They're
growing up, and getting more independent with each minute.
I've moved away from my family and friends half the state away so I can be with my kids before they go out on their own. I'd really like to make nearby friends to spend time with.
I like seeing the local sights, attending events and looking for fun things to do with someone who shares my interests. We should also have plenty of time to take easy and talk, watch movies, grill, etc.
I should add that I don't enjoy watching sports. One big exception is watching the Olympics, which I always look forward to--go figure. And in school, I was always the last kid picked. Probably for a good reason. I'm signing up at a health club though, if that counts.
I'm really looking for local guys. I want to be able to have someone to do things with, hang out with or just relax with. I have friends I moved away from, and I miss spending time with them. I don't like spending my time alone. The other important point is that I'm looking for friends rather than hookups. If those things fit, then:
I'm looking for down to earth guys who are outgoing, up-front, considerate and open-minded. Rather than limiting myself to whom I want to meet, I'd like to get together with you to visit if the feeling is mutual. (No, I'm not looking for hookups.) I look forward to making new, meaningful relationships.

We don't have to share all interests. I'm looking forward to experiencing new things. I like the simple things, and I clean up pretty well too. Like the Genie said about Aladdin: "That's right!...He CAN be taught."
