I am a relatively happy person who loves to laugh. I am a mother of four children, all grown and happily involved in their own families. I enjoy traveling, whether it be cruises, road trips in any direction, day/week-end trips.
Now retired, my professional life had centered on an executive administrative/legal background, which included federal employment, disaster team work, the airline industry, real estate and an international biometrics corporation. I have enjoyed volunteering my time in Barbados and Mexico.
I enjoy my family, have very few close friends and typically do better in a one-on-one relationship. I enjoy outside cafes, usually waterside with music (St. Augustine was great!!!). I love laughing, comedy theaters - not raunchy, live theater, jazz, dining out, cooking in, horseback riding, rainy nights, all things romantic, small intimate bands, dancing, concerts, football (always been a Viking fan in Steeler territory - that should indicate my level of loyalty) and watching/going to NASCAR races. I might be tempted to, once again, ride with a responsible motorcyclist. I absolutely hate cats, except Siamese, but like dogs. NO drugs, porn, abuse or foul language wanted. Although not a saint, I do live a decent lifestyle
I could enjoy a relationship that grows from a friendship, but would much prefer one that has that instant spark. I am a romantic at heart, and flowers - for no good reason - would rank high on my list of "things I like about him".
My ideal guy would be your upper ended ordinary Joe, intelligent, sharp witted, having unlimited possibilities to make each day special for us to share. I would like him to be sexy, decent, caring and have human kindness in his DNA. Our time together should be fun, passionate, adventurous, and spontaneous, with lots of laughing and romance, and if we quarrel, great make-up sex.

Love the East coast, Western states, any seaside locale, travel in general; love to cuddle during a rainstorm, love a great thunder/lightning show; Grey's Anatomy, Bros & Sisters, Burn Notice; I can dress up or down, but prefer casual attire (sun dresses, jeans/t-shirt), pizza/beer out or in; color purple - not the movie, although that was good, too; laughing and loving someone special; I'm a "plant me and I'll grow" type of person.
I'll read anything re. the courtroom or a book which has a legal theme - also like Tom Clancy; do not like romance novels or sappy love stories (prefer to live it myself rather than read about it); cookbooks - really!; magazines and newspapers.
