I am looking to meet a single, attractive, average, athletic or big and muscular BLACK MAN from Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin. I don't travel alone very much so he will need to come to me at first. A sense of humor is HUGE with me. I need to be around people that see humor in most all situations. I don't care if he works as long as he has his own money and is able to afford the basics in life. I am a BBW. I had gastric bypass surgery on May 31, 2006. I've lost a tremendous amount of weight. I've got a little ways to go but I am never going to be a thin woman. I'm about 5'1" and once I reach my goal weight I will still be about 160-180lbs. I'll be a BBW to the end!
That doesn't mean that I'm not looking to be toned and healthy. That is, after all why I went through the surgery. I have some things to finish up with my body. This will include loosing a little more weight and then plastic surgery. I am a woman in transition. Are you the kind of man who sees the beauty in a person by recognizing their determination to achieve their goals and be the best they can be?

COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY!!! I don't like to argue but I love to talk things through! I'm not a mind reader and I won't assume you are either....If you don't believe in expressing yourself and being willing to talk things out with me, you are most likely not the man for me and I'm probably not the woman for you.
My children and grandchildren are extremely important to me. They are everything...my heart and my soul. I babysit my grand kids often but not so much that I can't date. Just know that if you call, you might hear some tiny people's voices in the background. BTW...They will always come first in all emergency situations...but at the same time, I have a life and I want to share it with that special man. You will have to accept my family with all their imperfections. They will accept you as long as they know you love me and have my best interests at heart.
I've learned that I shouldn't settle. I've learned that relationships aren't always 50/50. Sometimes they are 10/90...sometimes they are 40/60 or 20/80...you see what I'm saying? Sometimes one person in the relationship has to carry the load...and vice versa. For me, this is what love is truly about. I will be your strength when you need me to be and you can lift me up when I need your support.
A great first date for me would be meeting for dinner...taking a long time to talk and see how we get along. Before that will happen, we will have to talk on the phone. I am a very audio person. A man's voice will either make or break my interest in him. I'm sorry if that sounds superficial or shallow but again, I'm being upfront and honest.
If I am listening to you speak and I'm closing my eyes, I want to feel chills....I can't help it, that is how I am.
