I enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy repairing houses and reselling them when the economy is better. I spend most of my time in the Sam Houston National forest where I own a home. I built a large front and back porch where I enjoy watching the squirrels, bluejays, woodpeckers, redbirds, rabbits and hummingbirds. I love the trees and the wildlife and you've never seen the sky so clear at night. I have a Harley but have to admit I'm a fair weather rider and would trade it for a travel trailer in a heart beat. I was raised on a farm so I'm a country boy at heart. I raise a heck of a garden and have raised game birds for your eating and hunting pleasure. I enjoy fishing in the Gulf near Rockport and hunting geese near Blue Lake during the winter. I would like to find a lady who shares my love of nature and the outdoors and wants to spend the remaining years of her life with someone like me. I prefer a woman who shows an interest in me first as I've been out of the dating process for the last 35 years. I just not very good at this. I am widowed and am somewhat financially stable but any major illness could change that over night. So I'm a realist.
