You gotta love this part... if your anything like me, you probably wonder how all of us "great women and good men" could possibly be having suck a hard time in the dating world?! I have a theory... and that is that 95% of the people on these sites are NOT who they are presenting themselves as in one way or another!! Their saying who the THINK you want them to be or who they WANT to be! I mean think about it.... If we're all SO GREAT, then why are we here? lol
Now don't misconstrued my pessimism as bitterness. Far from it, I accepted my place in the 'relationship pool' long ago. I'm destined to be a short term girlfriend. Not because I'm crazy or anything like that, but because I AM the girl that all you guys SAY you want! I'm a girl who THINKS like a guy!!! My sexuality is a HUGE part of who I am (but don't misinterpret that as my being loose or easy in any way and don't bother approaching me as such!!!). So, that basically dooms me to one of two MALE/FEMALE relationships: I'm either the Buddy or the one who gets bored intimately with the other and moves on. I average 4 months. Thats usually how long it takes! LOL
So sad.... cause I'm really GOOD at being with someone, but what can you do? I know how men think. Personally I think that is one of the reasons guys have a hard time (like me) staying for any length of time.... most women don't THINK like they do, therefore cant possible accommodate their needs! And I suppose the opposite can also be said. SO here in lies the dilemma!!! ;0)
It also doesn't help that when I look at most people my age I feel like I'm looking at my parents!! Being 'grown up' is SERIOUSLY overrated!!!! So, the guys I SHOULD be dating seem like old fuddy duddies, and the guys that are attracted to me are either WAY not my type or are younger? And the ones who are younger seem TOO young!!
I had a 23 year old in Cali explain it to me best! When I asked him why 'older girls' he said: Less maintenance, less drama and more experience sexually, WHATS NOT TO LIKE? LMAO!!! Well... when you put it THAT way I get it!!
So SHOULD i have hangups about being with a younger guy? I'm not sure, what I do know is I need someone who's YOUNG at HEART!!!
Anyhoo... now for all that "I'm so GREAT" junk....
As you can see from the profile and photo I'm - as will smith put it in wild wild west - "a big sturdy gal"! at 6ft what else do you call it... basically the gal next door, a little more biker bar than prep School type...
I need a strong man physically, psychologically and emotionally who's at LEAST 5'10" (and YES I have tried to date guys shorter than me! Doesn't do much for me unfortunately)... Someone who is not afraid to open himself up to the possibilities that being in an intimate relationship can offer! I'm not the type that is going to make you guess what I’m thinking or wanting and i like the same in return.
I MUST be with someone who understands that in MY world it is not "friendship" that sustains and makes a relationship strong, (although it is important), its the "intimate" bond that i have with my partner that makes it last! sorry, but i truly believe that with every fiber of my being.... after all, how many times have you heard of a relationship breaking up over lack of "friendship"? NEVER!!!! My point exactly!! (if any girls read this THINK about it!!!!!!!! DUH!!!! and no sorry, I don't like playing with someone who has the same "toys" I do!)
I mean seriously, you can love anyone... but what makes your lover different from your loved ones is the special intimacy that you share with them and no one else!!! I’m only saying this because it has been an issue more often than not...
So... after this rant... if you're still with me and you're looking for a girl who is old fashion in all the RIGHT ways and who probably wants to PLAY more than YOU do... and if you think you can handle the challenge of trying to last more than 4 months (or don't mind having LOTS of fun for about 4 months.... LMAO).... I'm DYING to hear from you!! lol
