I am me, meaning that I am not fake and I don't adjust my personality or my likes and dislikes according to who I am around at the time. I largely hold old fashion values regarding things, such as, honor, consideration, sincerity and compassion. I also have and like other old fashion elements of life, particularly, manners. I have exceptionally good manners. To me, it gives depth and a bit of flair to the romantic part of life when you treat a lady with good manners, such as, opening the door or extending your arm to assist her. I also believe myself to be very mature and intelligent with a well above average IQ. On the flip side, I am a big kid at heart, having a very fun, smiling and boyish attitude. Throughout my life and to this date, I seem to maintain a little of that “Dennis the Menace” mannerism and appearance.
I particularly don't like to be around inconsiderate or rude people. And, I believe that there is no point in wasting my time trying to make someone like me that doesn't naturally do so. The way I look at it is that there are a lot of things that I would like to hear, but just because someone says them, that doesn't make them true, so what's the point! I have also witnessed first hand some tragic experiences in life, and that has given me the ability to appreciate more of life that most of us take many times for granted. For that reason, I have always tried to take those life experiences and use them as life lessons that I can grow from. In some ways I am a very private person, in respects to that I just don't go around telling people about my personal life, feelings or problems. I am a very loyal and honest person, whereas, if I say I’ll do something, I’ll do it. Furthermore, I have rarely in life used the word “promise,” or, have made a promise to someone. That’s because, if I promise you something, I will nearly give my life in an effort to fulfill that promise. We have to maintain some standards to gauge ourselves by, and that’s one of mine.
I care a great deal about other people. And, there have been times in my life when I have lived very comfortably and well. Thus, I have always been inclined to give to people whenever possible, whether it be strangers or friends that are in need. That’s because at some point in life most everyone needs a little help or someone that they can turn to. And, unless a person has been there themselves, I think it is difficult for them to understand that the smallest gesture or helping hand can be such a huge thing for a person that is in need and has nobody there to help them.
As for what type of girl am I hoping for? First, I would say that I don’t really have many hang-ups or pre-set criteria for things, such as, age, height or weight …etc. What I do tend to require is that she has very similar views as I do in respects to the moral values of life. Views, or, characteristics, such as, not being selfish and having consideration of other people’s feelings. Also, someone that tends to naturally look at life optimistically for the fun and enjoyable elements within life. A girl that is passionate. Because I have yet to mention that I am a very passionate person. Example, I truly enjoy kissing. Really great kissing….. and much much more. And if possible, but not necessary, someone that may share some of the same or similar life experiences as myself. I’d like to meet a girl that has the ability to see me for what I am and what I represent. And, that doesn’t judge me by some previous actions of other men, but judges me by my own actions. A girl that likes some of those old fashion ways and manners, likes being a lady and likes being treated as one. A woman that knows how to love a man and enjoys the thought of building memories with the one they love
With all that said, it kind of sounds a little thick or heavy. However, let me assure you, along with all those more gentlemanly characteristics I mentioned, I am still largely a big kid at heart, with that smiling, happy boyish grin and those gleaming blue eyes. …. Hoping to hear from you.
