My name's Tootie. I'm fun and love life. Am a "people person" but also enjoy home-life, am thin, short, of athletic build and am a fun person to be around. I am a confident, strong woman and enjoy the parts of my personality and character which are playful and uninhibited! I'm usually the life of the party, but I do know when and how to take the backseat, so to speak, and not hogg the spotlight someone else might be enjoying. I enjoy the medical field, mini-vacations, and I just recently got divorced from a 17-year relationship/marriage & have come to terms with the fact my ex-husband didn't desire to try and save our marriage; Sometimes change can be a GOOD thing -- it's all about perspective, if you read me. Hey, I'm young, desirable, smart, fun, single, and have an awful lot going for me! Divorce (change) CAN be a good thing, full of new opportunities and excitement and fresh ideas, plus, I get to know myself in an entirely different way now! I'm picky about who I spend my time with, not 'cause I'm stuck up or anything, but because my time is valuable to me. Let's face it... we spend one-third of our lives sleeping, one-third of our lives working (and in most cases, working at a job we don't even like!), and the other one-third of our lives trying to relax and enjoy that little one-third we have left over! So, I can afford to be picky about who I spend my time with, 'cause I'm worth being that picky! People's time is really all they have... we ain't gettin' any younger, ya know! Whether my relationships be friendships or of an intimate / romantic nature, I look for the man I'm with to have his own healthy boundaries in place. I am also a healthy eater and believe that what I put into my body has a lot to do with how I look and feel, which is probably why I look as young as I do (I'm age 47).
I'm not sure what to expect from this site, as I'm new at this, but I'm sure willing to give it a try. A romantic connection would be a beautiful thing but, if just friendships develop, that's cool, too! It's so fun to be single again but I am the kind of woman who likes one man, and one man only, to settle down with...one day at a time. I'm single again for the first time in two decades!!!!!! And, baby, I feel like a teen-ager again!
