I am 49, but my friends tell me I look younger; either it is true or I have extraordinarily nice friends! I moved from Montana to Georgia in April. That was culture shock for me. I lived in the beauty and space of Montana all of my life. I miss Montana.
I was widowed in 1997 and have one son, who is 22 and the joy of my life.
I am a Bible Teacher and missionary. I travel and teach the Word in the U.S., and I lead groups of short term missionaries on spiritual/outreach journeys in Brazil and Israel.
Even though I travel a lot, I am trying to build a home base and community here in the Atlanta area. I'd like to meet someone in this area. Long distance friendships are complicated.
I love to dance. I think I need lessons. I sing and play guitar - but not performance - just worship. I used to be a very good cook, but don't do much of it any more. I wonder if it is a skill that comes back again?? I think cooking together is fun.
Even though I am friendly and engaged in public speaking and ministry, at heart I am an introvert. I much prefer in-depth conversation with one special person than attending a big party.
