About me. My favorite things should give you a hint about my personality.
Favorite things:
Visiting Charleston and taking a walking tour of the historic streets, shopping in the open air market, nibbling on fudge and pecans from Market Street Sweets or enjoying the salty sea breeze at the Battery. Then heading on down to Savannah, St. Augustine or New Orleans and repeating the idea.
Myrtle Beach dancing the night away at Studebakers, and cooling off with one of their flavorful libations.
I live between two rivers so catching fish and frying them on the riverbank along with hushpuppies, fries and a big bowl of homemade slaw is a great way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon. But first we have to turn over several rocks to catch enough crawfish to use for bait. I hope you aren't squeamish, lol.
Sitting in the porch swing that hangs from a huge oak tree in my yard and watching the squirrels and rabbits frollick every morning while I sip my coffee, with french vanilla creamer thank you.
Sitting in aforementioned swing at night watching the moon and lightening bugs put on a dazzling show.
Again in said swing (can you tell I spend alot of time in this swing) reading? Favorites are Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series, James Patterson's Alex Cross series or absolutely anything by Dorothea Benton Frank.
Going to the drive-in (yes, we have a drive-in). Great hotdogs!
And my six absolute favorite things are my three sons and three grandchildren. They make life complete.
