On to my profile.....be forewarned that my profile, like me.... is a work in progress...lol. But for now...I'm here to make some new friends and would consider finding a good man a bonus.

The most important people in my life are my children. I have two boys, 15 and 6; they are gorgeous, smart, funny, and well rounded. Having been a single mother for so long, I take great pride in the individuals my boys have become. While I am not looking for a “daddy” for them, anyone I date would have to like children to begin with. We are a package deal. If you don’t like kids, then you don’t like me. I am also very close to my family and have great friends in my life who I consider to be family.
I am a Leo who is beyond loyal to the people I care about, and when an injustice has been done to me or my loved ones, I am a force to be reckoned with. I am also an independent thinker, an analyzer, and I don't take everything at face value. In fact, I am secure enough to question authority, concepts or institutions when necessary. I'd like to meet someone who can hold their own intellectually; otherwise...matching wits with an unarmed or ill-equipped opponent is NO fun...
On a lighter note, I like to have FUN! My favorite season is summer, and I enjoy any and every summer time activity that you can think of. I can be spontaneous, adventurous and willing to try new things. Does anyone want to go for a hot air balloon ride, or parachute out of an airplane? A few other activities I enjoy are cooking, writing, gardening, playing pool, card games, board games, dancing, listening to music, seeing local bands, attending sporting events (especially when my kids are playing in them ! ), social gatherings, family dinners, and road trips. That’s just the short list…lol.
I can be very creative, and tend to put my full energy into things I consider important, however I AM known to procrastinate endlessly. In fact, let all Procrastinators UNITE...tomorrow, or maybe Monday. I am also compassionate, sincere, straight forward and open-minded with great intuition and instincts.
What qualities do I desire in a man, besides honesty, openness and trustworthiness? To name a few, I desire someone who is humorous, respectful, witty, intelligent, compassionate, thoughtful, confident (but not arrogant), spontaneous, fun loving, optimistic, open minded, and creative. I want someone who will accept and appreciate me for who I am, and not try to change me. I am who I am and what you see is what you get. Like it or leave it.
