I am an attractive, trim 42 y.o, professionally and emotionally secure, spiritually aware and politically and socially conscious. I am well-educated, with very eclectic tastes, but am very down to earth. I can settle back and watch crappy horror films or order a great bottle of wine at a Tuscan bistro. I am nearly a year away from a divorce, and am the primary caregiver for my beautiful five-year old daughter, who is my first and best responsibility. This is the first time I've done something like this, and I'm not very sure about how it goes. These questionnaires seem a little silly. It matters far more to me that a potential partner can laugh at the Daily Show than if she is a particular brand of Christian, or likes to go dancing. Turn offs would be: immaturity, self-deception, dourness, and chronic negativity. I’m looking for that balance between comfortable and challenging, nurturing and growing. Every connection can be beautiful; Some turn out to be something more.
