Winter in Florida & summer on the North shore of Long Island in my townhouse. I haven't bought anything in FL because of the market being unsettled. One son in Loxahatchee, one in Clearwater, & one on L.I.
Home Ec. major so I like to cook & entertain. Enjoy collecting antiquing, genealogy, logged 8 hrs. flying, boating, like to play tennis. volleyball, most kinds of music, dancing, gardening, sewing, decorating, going to the theater & museums, etc; I like to read bios, fiction, non-fiction, magazines, & newspaper. Don't care for scary or science fiction books or movies Like to do research both on the internet & libraries. I would like to learn how to play golf. Like to watch all sports except boxing, ice hockey, & soccer. I am a basketball,/baseball grandmom. Former skier whose M.A. thesis was on the history of ski apparel & sking & the ski market. Happy not to be in the snow in NY. 3rd season enjoying the FL sun yet I am contemplating going to the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver, I have traveled extensively but I still have much more I want to see, preferably, with someone other than my 11 yr. old granddaughter. Speak a decent amount of Spanish (studied for 5yrs.) Not into photography. Only keep a disposable in my glove compartment. I'll have to get one of my son's to take a picture of me for this website.
