I'm a 63 y/o divorced male who moved to Charlotte in Oct 07 from Michigan. Moved here because my son and his wife wanted me down here to live with them and also because I got sick and tired of the winters up north. I am retired and not all sure that's so great, but for now I'm not working but do think I will need to work at least part-time just to have something to do. I enjoy getting out to walk in the park for exercise weather permitting or will go to the Concord Mills mall. Love to take short road trips and explore the countryside of this area. Love the small towns and neat little places to visit. Hey, I find it exciting to stop at one of the local "mom & pop" places to eat since I think they are better than going to some large fancy place. I'm happy stopping for an ice cream cone. I'm just out to enjoy a simple life and take in all these neat events. The picture is me and taken in Feb 08. Nope, I'm not some cool looking dude with a red Corvette and a pocket full of money out to impress everyone, I'm actually rather quiet and shy. That's just plain ol' me with a new Honda Civic, no hot sports car, sorry. Hey, beauty is what's inside of a person, not the external view. Sometimes I think people get too hung up on what someone looks like and then miss one of the most beautiful people around them. I'm into blue jeans, t-shirt, NASCAR, C&W music, and a little bluegrass music.
