Honesty is the best policy. However, honesty with tact is a much better way of living one's life and a better policy. Those who tell it like it is, are usually telling it to hear themselves talk. Thus one virtue is upheld, two are broken,someone is still hurt and someone looks like a fool.
I am a Viet Nam Veteran and proud of it. I am a Texas Peace Officer with a Master Peace Officer License, as well as a retired teacher. I hold a direct commission in the Texas State Guard, and am involved in the Waco and McLennan County Emergency Management office. I try to stay busy and I enjoy helping others. I especially like to help those who want to help themselves.
Coffee, cooking, dining out, cookouts and picnics, movies, plays, concerts ,reading, music, travel, (especially day motor trips) meeting people,walking on the beach ( when I find one), hiking in the woods and the mountains, snow skiing ( although I haven't skied since I was a kid) The Denver Broncos (whether they win or not) boys and girls softball, little league baseball and soccer, College and high school baseball, volleyball, and soccer,.shooting skeet ( been a while) . You will notice that I do not jump out of perfectly good airplanes, or kill animals for trophies.
My idea of a great time and date is just getting into a car, turning on music, driving to anywhere without knowing where. Looking at the sights, maybe even photographing the sights. Looking over at a very wonderful lady and seeing a beautiful smile on her face.I then know that she had as great a time with me as I did with her.
I feel I could spend the rest of my life with a lady who is attractive to me, honest, loving, forgiving, playful yet with a serious side as well. good communicator, sensuous, intelligent without being compelled to display it all the time, a sense of humor,and a sense of self worth, and pride,
