The reason this Wisconsinite moved to Memphis is to fulfill
a large part of my life dream, to be a big city firefighter. About three months ago, Memphis Fire Department gave me that chance so I packed up and made the 800 mile journey to my new home, here. Currently, I’m about halfway through training, which will last til April, and then I’ll be doing the job. When I’m not at work, I’ve been hanging out with my new friends from fire school and exploring the new Memphis surroundings. Before I came here I earned my Bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked for six months as a cardiac nurse. As you’ve probably guessed by now, I’m more goal-oriented and responsible than your typical 23 year old guy, but I like to joke around and have fun too. When you ask around, you’ll hear that I’m fun (but, not a wild party guy), modest, and easy-going. I also consider myself loyal, and I have a thing for honesty. Probably my biggest flaw (depending how you look at it) is being kinda shy or quiet.
