I took early retirement 2 years ago from a company that I had worked with for 34+ years. Since I travelled most of my working life, I am enjoying being at home for a change. I am a happy, easy going person who would like to meet someone who has a similar value system and approach to life. Not taking yourself too seriously and a good sense of humor are high on my list in a match as is someone who appreciates friends and family. Since I am fairly conservative and grounded in my faith, I would like to find someone who respects those qualities.
I was a former college athlete who still enjoys playing tennis and softball. I enjoy reading, walking and any outdoor activity. Also, I actually enjoy working in the yard and around the house which is a good thing since everytime I turnaround something breaks or falls apart. I enjoy most sports and like the older, quality movies such as: A Man For All Seasons, The Best Years Of Our Lives, To Kill A Mockingbird and Doctor Strangelove to name a few.
