At this time I am dating someone...not anyone I met here....but a friend I've known for several years now. So for now I am not seeking anything more than just friendships....folks to talk to here or there. My approach on life is simple and my attitude is energetic. I enjoy quality time with fun people who love to laugh and smile. We all have bad days but it's those lousy days that make us appreciate the good in our lives.
I am a very caring and loving person which bites me in the butt sometimes but it's the only way I know to be. There is a passionate side of me that is apparent in everything I do. I like doing for others and creating a happy atmosphere wherever I go.
For once in my life however I would like to meet someone who has the same approach on life as me....or at least a similar one. I haven't dated much since my divorce three years ago. It's so dang hard to find someone who is settled enough to just enjoy a close friendship without getting all torqued up with emotions.
I like to read a good book once in awhile and enjoy a good bit of travel when time permits. But my greatest passions are writing, cooking and music. No I am NOT a singer...but I have been known to belt a note or two in the shower. The acoustics are great in there...but maybe not from where you are standing. Those are my outlets when life is pounding me hard. Oh and I do love to fish but haven't had the pleasure for the past year or so.
Honesty,sincerity, compassion and wit are key personality traits I admire in a person. If these qualities are not a part of who you are...more than likely you won't get along with me. A good dose of patience would be helpful as I am a very stubborn woman.
