I'm looking for a man that can be honest. I have not meet one yet. I don't understand you guys out there that say you want to get to know me and then don't. I'm a strong willed lady that has had to learn how to take care of herself. Don't need a man to do that but would love to give my good heart to someone. Family and friends are one of the best things in life. Sitting of the porch early in the morning with the love of your life drinking that first cup of coffee together is another. Life is to short and it's getting shorter everyday.
I remember a couple of years ago when my mom was in the hospital I was leaving her room and passed an open door where there was an elderly couple in this room. The older lady much have been the patient. But what got to me was he was brushing her hair. He was helping her. That's the kind of love I want. To be there for each other up to that last breathe. You don't see that anymore guys. My dad died in 1972. I was 15. My mom died in July 2003 but you know what after my dad died she never went out with another man. She sat at the kitchen table for 31 years waiting to be with him. The morning she took her last breathe I knew she was were she had wanted to be for a long time.
