To tell you about myself, I'm "recycling' answers to some questions I have on another "match" site. I pondered long about these responses for that site and I believe they tell about me and who I hope to meet!!
Question 1: In looking back at your life, of what are you most proud?
For some reason I found myself quite challenged in answering this. It's tough for me to look much past these last five years when "looking back on my life". With that time frame in mind, I would have to say that I am most proud of the fact that I found, through family, friends and faith, the courage and strength to end a 21 year marriage that I had allowed to almost completely strip me of my feeling of self-worth and sense of dignity. I hope I've conveyed that I'm not putting blame on anyone!! I firmly believe it takes "two to tango" and the same two to get to the final dance on the dance card.
Question 2. What is the one dream for your life you most look forward to having come true?
If I focus solely on "my" dream (vs. the one I have for my boys!), it is to find that remarkably kind, caring, patient, compassionate, funny, romantic, sensitive man who will laugh with me, cry with me, cuddle with me, travel with me, lovingly accept me with my flaws (the ones I perceive and those that are real!), and look forward to growing old with me.
Question 3. What do you think are the three best traits you have to offer a partner?
In no particular order..... .....A sense of humor .....Loyalty and honesty....almost to a fault, if there is such a thing! (for me these go hand in hand so I'm counting them as one of the three...) .....Two shoulders to lean on, two hands to hold, and one heart to share
