I remember years ago, when very few people even knew what the term ‘information highway’ meant, someone with an IQ higher than mine predicted ‘….people will choose their mates from the internet….” And here we all are, looking to do just that. Amazing, isn’t it? I’m willing to place some faith in the idea of it.
I live outside a small town in Southern Colorado in a log home on 35 acres in the mountains. I have horses and cats and the neighbor’s dog likes it here and visits often. I really should stop feeding him. I repair my own fences and plumbing (if it’s not too complicated a job), know where the thermocouple goes in my heater and can change a tire on my SUV without breaking a nail. I can balance my checkbook and I file my own income tax. Warm, romantic, playful, self sufficient, fairly independent, healthy, financially stable and I know what I want out of life…. Or at least I was pretty sure I did yesterday. I love being in the company of funny, energetic people and try to find the humor in everyday’s little tragedies. I’m naturally savvy with computers and am currently studying to achieve my IT certification. Originally from Texas (still have the accent) I’ve lived in Colorado for several years and absolutely love it here.
Outdoors is where I prefer to be and I get a renewed strength from summer. I enjoy taking long walks, horseback riding, playing on/in the water and traveling when I have the time. Taking on the rides at an amusement park is still a thrill for me, small town carnivals, tall swings, country dancing and Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream. 110% female but I’m not afraid to get my hair wet or my hands dirty. I believe in treating people fairly and taking an occasional walk in someone else's shoes is good for us all. I’m adventurous but not to the point of insanity. I’ve got a lot to live for and I’d like to continue doing just that.
