Hello, I'm Jim. I'm a 42 year old single father of a teenage son. I operate an insurance agency during the week and maintain a few apartments as a landlord as well. On the weekends I enjoy keeping busy around the house or yard and when I can I enjoy a bit of play as well. Sometimes having fun at medieval re-enactments with the SCA. Sometimes participating in or judging at the occasional Karate tournament. When I can, I relax by taking a long ride on my Suzuki, especially on warm evenings. Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy sitting back and enjoying a bit of TV, reading a good book or watching a movie. Occasionally, I simply have a few friends over and we continue our long running D&D game or another RPG, card game or rarely a poker night. In other words, I generally find a way to keep busy and have fun while I'm doing it.
Raising my son and helping him as and when needed has been my focus for a long time, but as he grows into manhood I find I have a bit more time and am interested it in sharing it with someone. I've listed many of my hobbies under interests so I'll spare you having to read those twice. As to what I'm looking for in a companion or partner? Someone to share my life and interests with, be it for a little while or perhaps a life time. A friend...... maybe more as the relationship grows.
