Hi there! I'm originally from Cleveland, now living in the shadow of mighty Chicago. I'm a grad student at Northwestern University, got about three years left until I wield the awesome PhD in Applied Math, and start serving my corporate masters. Or work at NASA. Or just say screw it and hitchhike across the country in search of truth.
My interests? I'm a pretty big sports fan, although not obsessed. My hometown teams would be my beloved Indians, Browns, and Cavs. Naturally I also lend my support to the Cubbies, Bears, and daa Bulls. I play some intramural softball and basketball on occasion, and I'm always looking for a tennis partner or someone to bike along the lake with, since I got that Wheaties box promo to look forward to!
When I'm not contemplating equations, I'll hang out in the apartment and play video games or watch cartoons such as South Park, Family Guy, Aqua Teen, Homestar Runner, and Spongebob. That's right, Spongebob is awesome. What else? I play guitar and piano, and played in a blues band for awhile. One of these days I'll get back to rocking out with an awesome band.
I enjoy exploring the city, seeing the unique places, visiting museums and going to the outdoor festivals Chicago has during the summer. I'm not much into drinking at bars and clubs and such, but I'll hit up an Evanston bar every now and again for a beer and some foosball action. Road trips are always fun, gotta get out of the urban jungle once a while! So I guess I prefer simple, down to earth girls who live based on reason and compassion rather than material desires and cheap thrills. Sound interesting? Give me a buzz!
