Life with me is anything but boring. I stay active and on the go. I was born in the Midwest and have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for the past 30 years. I'm a little bit country but I love the sophistication of the city. I can go fishing in the morning and attend the opera in the evening. I work in the Accounting Department of a major lawfirm and enjoy both my job and my coworkers, we work hard but still manage to have fun.
My interests are varied and many. I am a bowler and have been for many years, not the greatest but not the worse either. I love to read, movies, knitting, gardening and cooking. I consider myself a pretty good cook, or at least no one has died on me yet. I love to entertain and sharing my home with my friends. I love to travel, thus far this year I have been to Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. Tanzania is a dream trip I hope to one day realize for the migration of the animals. I am heading to upper New York this Fall and am planning a Dutch River Cruise in April of 2009 and I'm hoping for a roommate.
I am recently widowed after a long marriage and I am hoping to find someone who would love to enjoy life with me. Marriage is not an option at this point in my life but I would love to have someone to go to the movies with, enjoy dinner, hold my hand and enjoy life.
