My name is Joe, and I reside in Wheaton. I do realize meeting people is a challenging and scary endeavor.
I believe in integrity. Integrity is a guideline, a benchmark, a point of reference or a goal that is used to make decisions that rely on truth and honesty. All things are related to this point of reference and judged accordingly. To maintain integrity, I believe we must refer to truth and honesty in ALL decisions, thoughts, actions and reactions. That's not an option if you are to have and maintain integrity.
I believe wise people live their daily lives in accord with wise perspectives and wise values. As a result, their actions make the world around them a better place. They help others to grow. They live compassionately. They resolve conflicts and in other ways maximize harmony and general well-being. If their own growth in wisdom is carried to the point where identification with Being takes place, they stop differentiating between themselves, the universe, and what needs to be done. At that point they see themselves and the rest of humanity as Being itself ? evolving, and living progressively higher values.
However, one does not know what is out there without at least taking to first step and saying, "Hello". I would welcome your response and with a little luck, we will talk in the future.
I have been told I have a very welcoming demeanor which people feel comfortable around. I also enjoy one-on-one communication. I am also good at trouble-shooting situations either professional or personal. I am grateful for the ability to really be patient and it allows me to really listen and hear a problem out, and then to work on a solution. I am a very easy-going, laid back type of person; easy to talk with and trustworthy. Many people that I know feel they can be themselves around me as well as share what is on their minds.
