I'm the guy no one expects to find dating online. Tall, fit, very witty, creative, amateur musician, financially secure. If you're like me, you're not here because you "need" to meet people online. You simply realize this is an efficient way to meet those with common interests, goals and understandings.
I require and give perfectly honest and open communication, tempered only with a generous, gentle heart. Please always say what you mean, what you want and what bugs you. Hopefully our wants coincide and we can have more than a few wonderful experiences together.
I'm looking for a few good lovers. Too honest? Too open? Thank you, and good night. I don't think I'll find a soulmate or a lifelong partner any time soon. I haven't decided what attributes my mate needs to possess (vs. Those I want her to possess). I'm tall. I'm attracted to tall women. But is that a 'must have' criterion for long term happiness? Dunno.
Clean, sober, drug- and disease-free are musts. Caring, good hearted, etc. Are some basics that no one should have to mention and everyone thinks characterizes themselves. Here's a test - do you give more compliments than complaints? I try. Athletic, or at least fit, is a huge plus. Outgoing is the wrong word for the general attitude I seek. It's better termed "unembarrassed." Basically, if you're doing anything that embarrasses you, stop doing it or stop worrying about it. Can you be open and honest with those you care about? Can you tell Mom you're sleeping with me? My mother is devoutly Catholic and disapproves of much of what I consider good behavior but I no longer let that stop me from talking to her. She probably prays harder for me! My joke: I'll have no problem getting into heaven, as long as "Mom + 1" is on their guest list.
I'm also blissfully unemployed right now. I left my internet tech support job with a large, evil telecommunications company (I know - evil telecommunications company is redundant.;-D) And I'd like to figure out how to do things I love for a living. The main trouble: no one thing can hold my interest for 40 hours per week for the next 30 years! So, I'll need a few part time jobs: play guitar and sing, maybe be a masseur, photography, maybe tag along on vacations and edit videos.
