I am looking for a friend and companion to enhance my life through our shared interests and experiences. I'm curious, intuitive and insightful, and like to read, enjoy stimulating conversation and learn new things every day. Keeping it simple all the while maintaining an unaffected sense of wonder is my goal. Music and the outdoors are a playground for the soul. I love to dance, and enjoy music which sets a mood or the rhythm moves me, especially big band and blues. If you also like to dance, that's a WOW. Special pleasures are sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, the desert in bloom or just exploring the many wonders of nature. Enjoy southern California, and like to go back for visits. I spend much of my time in the summer kayaking and swimming either at the lake or the ocean, and I'm always up for an adventure. Recently joined a hiking/outing club. Like to sail, walks in the woods or on the beach, picnics or just relaxing in the sun or cuddling at home in front of the fireplace. Would enjoy RVing if you should be looking for a travel companion, or fishing if you want a fishing pal. Occasional in-town adventures to museums, art galleries, concerts and the theater are fun. Now that retired intend to start painting again but need motivation. It would be great if you do and we could pursue this together. Enjoy working in my garden or to just poke around, eat healthy and like to cook, but it is more fun cooking together with a special partner. Although I enjoy dressing up for a special evening out, I mostly delight in simple comforts. I am most comfortable with a tall man who could be the honey-hugger in my life. We can be funny and laugh together connecting with our playful teasing repartee. Jealousy, game playing and drama roller coasters are not his idea of a thrill ride. He is interested in finding what's around the next corner, particularly those places off the beaten path. It would be great if we could spend time together where it is warm in the winter.
