Judging by statements I've read on several profiles, I guess I should go ahead and clarify a few things first. Yes, I do have all my own teeth, meaning they're planted in my jaw and they don't sit in a glass of water at night. Yes I do have a job and I've been working in my field for over 20 years. No, my home does not have wheels and yes, I do own it. Okay okay...so the bank and I own it together.
I enjoy being around people who share my love for laughter and I can generally have a good time no matter where I am or what the situation. I take my kids camping a couple times a year, usually with at least one other family. The more the merrier. Travel is something that's really big with me but it's been quite awhile. I've been fortunate enough to have visited several countries and walks of life. I enjoy talking about those adventures with people and hearing about theirs. I'll do it again someday. Another cruise too. There's also that "Windjammer Barefoot cruise" fantasy of mine that WILL be fulfilled one day. Time seems to stand still and, somehow, fly by when you have children. I'm a PADI certified diver and I plan to do a "liveaboard" wreck dive at Truk Lagoon in Micronesia some time in the future. There are over 35 shipwrecks there and countless planes from WWII. So I'll be looking for a dive buddy in a few years. Watch this space...
I'm not a great cook and my boys will probably attest to that. But I'm always working on it. My forte is BBQ and I'm pretty good on the grill (if I do say so myself). Charcoal of course. I like to have friends over for a BBQ occasionally. Drinks, laughs, and good times are always on the menu. I wouldn't dare invite them when I cook in the kitchen. I kinda like my friends.
I don't believe in being an adult 24/7 and *gasp* I've been known to run with scissors on occasion. Sometimes being an adult is overrated...we have to make time to be a kid once in a while. I would like to meet a lady who is playful, fun, and somewhat confident in herself. She shouldn't be afraid to act like a kid on occasion and she should be a GREAT kisser (sort of a weakness of mine). So did I mention playful?
