Hi! Thanks for stopping to read my profile. Let me start out by saying that I am a Christian woman who is looking for a serious relationship with a man who is also a Christian. As you see, my status says that I am currently separted. That is technically true. However, the divorce has already been filed and we are awaiting a court date. It seems like the last 9 months have been a blurr for me as many things have happened. The most life changing event happened in March when my 22 year old daughter suddenly passed away. She left behind her beautiful little boy who is now 3. I have been raising him since that time. I also have a 9 year old daughter who lives with me full-time. In May I graduated from nursing school and just recently passed my state boards. I am now working as a Registered Nurse. I love my job and am very happy with the career I've chosen. That in itself might give you a little insight into the type of person I am. I just bought a house and moved to Three Rivers the end of June. We are still in the process of "unpacking".
I have made my share of mistakes in the past, but I feel I've really learned from them. I have always been a very positive person. Even given all the events that have happened in the last 9 months and the chaos that seemed to envelope me, I have been able to smile and know that God never gives more than I can handle. That doesn't mean that sometimes I don't wonder what he knows that I don't know. It's been through his grace and mercy that I am where I am today. I became a nurse because I love helping others. It's always been my nature to help and to protect others. Being a nurse allows me to do that. I have a great sense of humor and have been described as quick witted. I love laughing and having a good time. It takes very little to make me happy and to make me smile. I do tend to be a little shy in crowds but warm up once I start to feel more comfortable.
I am somewhat old-fashioned and still like to have the door opened for me. I enjoy pleasing my partner and will go out of my way to make him happy with little things as well as big things. I am a true romantic at heart and believe that there is someone out there for all of us.
I enjoy most outdoor activities. My daughter and I went camping last year for the first time alone and we had a blast. I would like to continue this and make it more of a yearly event. I love to fish, go bike riding, take long walks, mushroom hunting (don't like to eat them though), watch movies, and explore new places. There are many things that I would like to try and many places I'd like to see. I would love to learn to play raquetball and golf. On any given day you will probably find my radio set to the local Christian music station. It's not that I don't like other kinds of music. It's just that Christian music really touches my heart and my soul. I also listen to country music as well as oldies.
I obviously don't know exactly who God has intended for me, but I am guessing that he will be a loving man that is capable of loving me unconditionally until death do us part. He will love kids and be excited to be part of my children's lives. He will know when I'm feeling down and just need a hug. He will know how to make me feel like I'm the only woman in the world. We will share a love that neither of us have ever experienced before. When we are apart, we will miss one another and look forward to the next time our eyes meet.
