I appreciate the gifts from the big U universe. I remind myself to be in the present, that's my gift. Relax, no big deal. I know that happiness is an inside job: after doing shopping malls and material stuff, it's just stuff.
When I was camping in Yosemite, I had more pleasure and never missed anything. I did have female companionship/friendship and our dogs.
