I love kids and am currently a preschool aide for 10 little cuties twice a week. I am also a disability advocate and am heavily involved with the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan, especially as a counselor for their summer camp program. I grew up in the boonies so I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature at a young age. One of hobbies is to go exploring in the woods, which I can literally do for hours!
Friends and family are very important to me. I try to spend as much time with them as I can.
I love watching movies and listening to music. I like most types of movies (sorry guys, chick flix rank high on my list, as do dramas). The only kind that I hate are horror movies. I enjoy more genre's on music, but am a die hard country fan. The only mainstream music you wont ever catch me listening to (willingly) are hard rock/alternative and rap.
I'm not a very big sports person, but I LOVE to go downhill skiing and during the summer I'll go canoeing every now and then.
As for a guy....I'm interested in someone who's romantic (which is sometimes hard to find), willing to take things slow, is patient and understanding, has good morals and values and also someone who's more outgoing than I am. Yes, I am shy AT FIRST, but given time (and sometimes a little encouragement) I will come out of my shell...lol!
