Too romantic an intro line for me? My feet are always so firmly on the ground. And what I am looking for may seem modest and prosaic – someone happy with herself, and thoughtful about me. But to be happy inside, one needs to have no regrets about one’s body, one’s character, one’s life so far – but still have ideals. To be thoughtful of others, one must be able to empathize unselfishly and sincerely. Why, I am starrier eyed than if I were waiting for my soul mate I’ve been traveling around the world for a decade now, and I am finally settled and go to the school in Virginia. I love what I do, but the only work habit I bring to my outside life is reasonableness, which is the soft sort of logic. Perhaps that is why my creativity is more in craft than art – I cook, I knit, I letter, I translate, I love to study. I adore the artistic in others – in painting, in writing; I exercise enough to stay trim, but not much more. Out of doors, I don’t do competitive, but I enjoy slightly strenuous hiking. I have been running middle distances last year for breast cancer Fundraising. When I hang out with friends, I like listening to people, and in tête-à-têtes I love to talk, if encouraged.
