Renaissance Chik- Most basically defined as a chik who has at least somewhat of an interest in just about everything, who agrees life is a journey; not a destination.
Other similar terms also in use are Homo universalis and Uomo Universale, which in Latin and Italian, respectively, translate as "universal person" or "universal chick".
These expressions are derived from the ideals that it is possible to acquire universal learning to develop one's full potential and said learning need not be done through acedemic channels.

A bit about a RENAISSANCE CHIK
I find that any activity I engage in is second to the company I share it with. I'll typically give things a shot even if I'm not very good at them.
I spend most summer weekends down the shore, the ocean soothes my soul. I took up surfing 2 years ago, I still suck but have a blast trying
I practice yoga and meditation
I have a motorcycle licence and plan on buying a bike this spring. Can't wait for that one!!
I really enjoy hiking especially in areas with falls.
I bought the home depot123 book, now I think I'm a contractor. Hey I'm a single home owner, somebody's got to do it.
