This is the part I hate. I'm an old hippie who enjoys SEX, camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing and a whole lot of outdoor stuff.(and some rather interesting indoor stuff too) I like children, mine are grown, MY GRANDCHILDREN (4 OF THEM) are enough entertainment and I DON'T need or want more children of my own,(although PRACTICING their conception has ALWAYS held a certain attraction!!) but if you have children it isn't necessarily a deal breaker (depending on behavior patterns of said children, I enjoy WELL MANNERED CHILDREN but will not suffer BRATS!!! So if your little tykes aren't capable of civilized behavior, do us all a favor and pass on this ad!). I should add that I'm not wild about pets whether they are furred or scaled (the scaled kind are for eating and furred...well, some of them are for eating too!),I mean there's nothing I really enjoy more than a strange dog sticking his nose into my crotch or up my butt! Cats are okay because they're so damned independent but I don't like cats who are always looking for attention either! So if your animals ARE your 'kids'...maybe you should pass on this page too! You probably won't appreciate when I refuse to pay a thousand bucks to get your 'precious' little bundle an operation! And my wisecrack about 32 cents for a shell will probably spark a rather interesting conversation later on that evening! I drive truck for a national carrier and as such I'm not always home when I want to be. When I am home I like to see friends and family but would always be there first for the woman who keeps me sane! I play guitar and sing, I like sci-fi and movies (all kinds). I'm really fond of history having lived through so much of it, so far!(BIG chuckle) I like a good drink but don't like being drunk or hanging out with drunks, so if alcohol is a PROBLEM for you PLEASE close this profile and go on to the next, enjoy your life and let's not become each others' nightmare! If you're into the club/bar scene, you too are probably on the wrong page, I spent many years in rock & roll bands playing every weekend in some bar and now seem to find things to do outside the realm of the neon lights! I guess you could say that I'm kind of set in my ways! If you like being in the great Maine woods with a pole in your hand or a chair, a good book, and a load of patience while I hold a pole in my hand; If you can look beyond the big (okay, maybe not so BIG), scaly ugly thing I just brought in, with the air of the conquering hero all about me, to the wonderful meal just minutes away; If you REALLY understand why I AM willing to wait 30 minutes on the chance that the people in the flashy, loud, smelly cars MIGHT get to run those last five laps to the checkered flag; If having a trip to the corner store turn into a six or seven hour jaunt through the incredible beauty of northern New England just brings a smile to your face; IF YOU have read this incredibly long, drawn out, rambling, run on sentence and STILL have your sense of humor intact....now where was I going with all this crap...YOU SHALL FIND YOUR WAY..no that wasn't it....OH YEAH!!!!, you might want to drop me a line, maybe have a cuppa 'joe.(Or a slurpy if you don't do the caffeine thing...)
