I just went through Lasik Surgery for my eyes last Wednesday evening, and I am SO glad I did! I can see clearly now, without having to wear corrective lenses. It has been nearly 29 years since I have been without glasses or contact lenses, and if you have not figured it out from my exuberant rantings....I am Ecstatic!
Friends describe me as a funny, open-minded, charming guy with a big heart who is accepting and a little extroverted.
I am a little overweight, and have some 'love handles', but I am active and working out so I continue to slim down. I am comfortable in my own skin and have accepted my body frame.
I have been ready to settle down for quite some time now, and I am in a place in my life where I am ready emotionally, financially, and psychologically to meet 'the one' and start a family. While I have never been one to shy away from commitment, unlike the so-called stereotypical image of the average guy, I am willing to take my time mainly because I plan on hopefully only (eventually) getting married once.
I love to travel, be with friends, cook, wine and dine, dress up, or lay about the house with a special someone. I am mature, honest and open to new adventures and activities. I do not have baggage, 'mommy issue', and I am comfortable with myself and where I am in life. I am supportive, and seek intelligent conversation, adventurous people, and genuine personalities. Forget my age for a minute and consider the fact that I look more like 31 than 39, and I definitely act youthful, as I am full of life and energy. I can walk into a room of strangers and strike up a conversation, or spend a few minutes getting a lady to smile and brighten up her day with a thoughtful compliment, joke, or friendly banter.
