I am a graduate student in Geological Engineering at the University of Missouri - Rolla. My research involving "Megalandslides of the Colorado Plateau" has introduced me to a unique, challenging, and enjoyable project with many study sites in the Grand Canyon. I generally enjoy outdoor activities and don't like to sit around and watch TV much. I do enjoy documentaries relating to history or science and technology. I am very curious and tend to ask LOTS of questions.
I am not pretentious and am a "what you see is what you get" type of person. You can put me up in a five star hotel with a five star restaurant but I would have just as much fun canoeing down a river and camping on a gravel bar island with the river flowing just a few feet away and five billion stars overhead. Smoke-filled, loud bars are not my idea of a good time and I would much rather be outside. I like to cook and enjoy trying various types of ethnic foods.
I am also high energy and always willing to go somewhere new and interesting. For the most part, I am very outgoing and not afraid to talk to others. If you are interested, feel free to write.
I am looking for someone without all the baggage common to many people today as this has posed problems for me in the past. I am a more "low maintenance" person and would like someone similar. It doesn't take a lot of money or material possessions to keep me happy. A good genuine personality is a must and a good sense of humor is a plus. I am not here to play games or be deceptive in any way. If you are here to find an edgy, angst filled guy, you might as well look elsewhere as that is not my personality.
