I am a single parent of a 10 year old boy. He lives with me so my life is always full of surprises. Between working all the time and the everyday needs of him, there is very little free time. That's ok though. I wouldn't do anything different if I had it to do all over. That's what being a parent is all about. You make sacrifices so that your kids don't go without.

After 10 years, I experienced one of the many things that most people dread. A divorce. I can honestly say that it was the best thing that could have happened to me. I am a better person and in all honesty, I am alot happier. Both with myself and life in general. Between the adjustments and everything else that came with it, I realized that life is too short to be unhappy. I've made some new friends and got reacquainted with some old ones. Everyone who is in my life now is there for a reason. The ones that aren't....well, they have their reasons also. Enough about that though.
It's all about having fun and enjoying life now. Come on over and be a part of it. I might be one of the best friends that you will ever have. Then again, maybe not. I'm not perfect and I don't expect anyone else to be either. I just make the best of every situation no matter what. Like I said earlier, life is too short.
