I am not limiting myself to one area, anything/anyone, that's for sure. I have to be honest, I just got out of a 5 year relationship and I met him online. Unfortunately, it did not work out as planned but I firmly believe that I took alot from that relationship and things happen for a reason. I will never regret those 5 years, as they are a part of my life. I still have hope that I will meet someone that will love me for me and will not be so complicated. I am not saying I am ready to jump back into a relationship, but I am not against getting to know new people in order to find that again. Relationships do take work, compromise and many other things to be successful. I am a firm believer in some ways that it shouldn't take so much work that it makes everything stressful and takes way too much effort. To the point of just being draining. I am definitely a person, who when they are in a relationship with the right person, that I put in 100%. But it takes two for sure and if I find someone who feels the same, we are golden! I think that physical attraction is very important and I want to have that butterflys feeling when I am with them. I want to grin from ear to ear when I see them and hate to hang up the phone or say good bye when we part. I am an affectionate person and he should be the same. I think that is extremely important in a relationship. He should be independent but appreciate the time he spends time with me. (Vice Versa) I think that having "you " time is important, to spend with friends, family or doing whatever you enjoy doing...and when we are together we really enjoy that time and not take it for granted. It should be fun, spontaneous, romantic and all of the above. I won't lie, I do set me expectations pretty high at this point in my life, because well...I won't settle for anything less than what I want in a relationship/person. I want to meet someone I that I am compatible with, has the same interests, values and sense of humor. I like to be active outdoors, to play golf, any sport basically for fun. I have not golfed as much as I would like to, but plan to play alot more this summer. It is a really an enjoyable activity for me, so if you enjoy that as well, even better. I like to watch sports as well if you can believe it! Go Sox and Pats! Snowmobiling, fishing you name it! I am pretty laid back and don't let the "small things" upset me. I just like to enjoy life and not take things for granted. Life is too short! I just like to be with people I care about and have a good time. Whether it be out on the town, or staying in renting a DVD. I am pretty flexible. My ideal match should be clean cut, somewhat in shape (doesn't have to be buff!) Someone who appreciates going out, traveling, lazy Sundays and who likes to laugh. Sense of humor is a huge deal to me, if you can make me laugh you're in. I can be goofy at times (when you get to know me) but also know when to be serious. I love the summer time and everything that comes with it. The beaches, ocean and that smell of salty air. Anywhere where there is a beach, warm climate and nightlife, I am particularly happy! I am pretty spontaneous, I think that's when you have the most fun. I'm extremely close with my family and have close relationships with my friends. I would like someone who shares the same values, as they are a package deal with me. My mom always says, (and I agree) If a man has a great relationship with his mom, then he's a catch! Going back to what I said in the beginning...I am not looking to jump into a serious relationship right now, but who knows. If I meet the right person, sky's the limit.
