I am new to the area and am looking for people to go do things with whether it be go to a movie or the museum or walking downtown. I'm not in a huge hurry to find that perfect love, however if it were to sneak up on me, with a quality person I may be inclined to pursue it. I like to have fun whether going out or staying home to curl up on the sofa and watch a great movie. I also enjoy listening to music while having a beer or two and talking. I rarely listen to the radio or watch television. There are many ways to fill my time with mindless entertainment without american idol or the latest pop tune. Yet I am an easy going gal.
I enjoy my freedom and am highly independent. I love being social, hanging out with friends. I am not a demanding woman but I do expect a bit of attention and respect. I am kinda old fashioned when it comes to certain things such as politics and, well, we'll just say I don't sleep around. That comes with getting to know you pretty well. Then, we'll have lots of fun. And I truly dislike blatant public displays of affection.
I have a beautiful dog and she is my baby. I have had her for 1 year. I also have a cat that I adopted 12 years ago. As it turns out, I'm a dog person and I never knew it. Don't get me wrong, I love the cat, but she doesn't fetch and the dog really lets me know when she's missed me. I am very close to my family, we're a big group of best friends. My nephews and lil baby niece are the sunshine of my life. They're so darn cool with their little personalities!
