I'm not here trying to impress anyone by saying things untrue, or creating things to say about myself. Of course, we are only touching the highlights of the good stuff. (not many would say bad things about themselves, after all, we are human. self preservation comes into play here.)
I am the life of the party or the 'quiet as a mouse' person. I love people, and interact well with most everyone. I know many people but consider only a couple as friends, those you would drop everything to go assist.
My value of things have changed. I'm not going to sail the Atlantic or Pacific, nor am I going to chuck everything and go to Greece, Italy, England, or France. I've traveled and realize there is so much to do and see right here. I'm not much into tv, and definitely not a couch potato. I'd rather be outside potting plants, building something, or tinkering with something. I work hard when I work, typically, 8-12 hour days. I'm a handyman, Huni-Do guy, including, but not limited to painting, fence, remodels, trim work, sheetrock, lighting and ceiling fans, (kama sulta massages, but I haven't been lucky enough to get someone to pay me for that yet), and most anything in construction.
I'm as comfortable in a harley bar as I am in a fortune 100 board room. Even YOUR family reunion!!
I've been single a long time. Time to get my feet wet. Not asking for much, just someone to pal around with, movies, cook with, drives in the country, auctions.... gosh, my interest are so varied. I refinish antiques, buy and sell all sorts of old stuff. Let's make homemade icecream this weekend! I love to cook. I grill or bake, seldom fry, steam my veggies, and always keep fruit around.
I am very involved with my 17 yo son's life. I'm dad, but we are friends too. We talk about all sorts of things, teaching him right from wrong, value of money, and believe it or not, he enjoys the auctions, buying, selling, and collecting old fishing gear. Oh, we fish too!
