the last blast of lightning
When I was young I used to like to sit on the front porch during thunderstorms, marveling at the power and majesty of nature. While somewhat rare I think that a similar power and majesty, that of love can storm between two people creating in its wake a cleansing lasting calm. It is these ties that bind man to woman, father to son, mother to daughter which makes the vagaries of life not only bearable but worthwhile. Which I guess is why I am here. Having hit 36 years of average height (5’9”) and build 175 pounds soaking wet, I still believe in the compelling nature of love and family. With a conservative frame of mind, I am seeking a special woman who when her eyes throw light at mine, its enough to change my mind and make me leave my cautious words and ways behind. While I enjoy spending time with a special someone in many endeavors from sporting events to hiking, eating out to eating in, watching movies to going to the theater, I also have a quieter more introspective side. While working in the health care field, my internal true passion is creating and playing music. Could you be the muse to inspire my latest creation? While some might fancy me as overly serious at times, it seems to me my love of Monty Python and the Simpsons rules that out.
