Personality
I,m about 5 feet tall around 100 pounds, have auburn hair and blue eyes.I have two grown children and 6 grandchildren. My family is very important to me. My Father, God rest his soul always said I could be the best person you would ever want to know, just don't get on the wrong side of me. I spent eight years taking care of my parents. I was elected due to the fact that I was widowed, so I could move in to do so. I lost both my parents within in three months of each other and had to start over at 46 years old. I have no regrets, my folks were wonderful people. They never knew a stranger. My Dad was my hero and always will be, after all we were manurepals. There is a touching story behind that nick name. I,m a homebody, told I'm quite a good cook, Thanks to Mom and Grandmas. Country cookin. I'm rather a neat freak. I have a place for everything and usually everything is in it's place, but my home is lived in. I love working in the yard. I like camping, long walks, sun set and sun rises. I love motorcycles, always on the back though, go to bike week in Daytona when I get a chance. I have a sister who lives in Florida. I try to go to the street fair in Yellowsprings, Ohio every year, if you have never been there you should make it a point to go, a whole different class os people live there. The Glen is a beautiful place to hike, it is a place God hasn't let humans touch yet. I like to read. I love Steven King , Deane Koontz, Patricia Cromwell. I read a lot of true crime. I love country music and old rock, but will listen to about anything but rap and new wave. I'm told I'm a Giver and don't try to change. I was born that way and always will be. At times I think that is my biggest downfall. I was assitant manager at Dollar Tree for three years and worked there for four. I'm now taking CNA classes. I just sold a mobile home and currently starting over once again, I hope for the last time. I'm currently staying with my daughter and will be apartment hunting as soon as I finish school. Right now I'm wondering what God has planned for the rest of my life, I really don't wish to spend it alone, but my kids say it would take a special person to be able to be with me. I think we all are set in our ways the older we get. I like to dance and be around friendly loving people from time to time. I have a dog, Bailey, wish I could have a horse, and live in the country, always been a dream of mine. What would this world be like if we didn't have our dreams. I'll try most anything once, I'm not afraid of anyone. I'm a pretty good shot with a gun, at least I use to be. I grew up working on cars with my Dad. I have three sisters, one older, two younger, they all live in Ohio. I have a brother who is deceased. I like cuddling up on the sofa or on the floor with pillows, a good movie, maybe a couple of beers and then later on some ice cream. Well I wasn't tryin to sell myself but that basically is pretty much me
I'll tell ya what a Loving Father I had. I had always wanted a horse, but when my baby brother passed away my Father lost the home he built in the country because at that time no one would help with his medical bills. Any way we moved to the city but my grandpa still had a farm, well one day as always we took a ride on Saturday, we never knew where we would end up, but Oh it was so fun. We would stop in a little town and my dad would go into the little grocery there and gat bologna bread and chips. He would put the back down on our old beaver slapp station wagon and we would sit there and eat. Kids now days would think you were on drugs. Ha! They just don't realize what they miss out on. Any way we pulled into a small place just outside of town that sold horses. We went there almost every weekend, my Father knew the man who owned it. They had the most beautiful palamino there. My Dad said, Brenda we are getting a horse. He didn't buy me the horse I wanted, but a pony, we named Charlie. The interesting thing about this story is...... We took the back seat out of our station wagon and hauled him all the way to my Grandpa's house in that wagon. I'll never forget the look on peoples faces as we went down route 4 to Mechanicsburg, us kids were in the back. That is Real Family Love!
