I’m a former Northeasterner, former Floridian and former journalist. I love the absurd in life and appreciate a pretty twisted sense of humor. I haven’t dated in a long time. I spent two and a half years helping a dying friend. Now I’m starting a new life. I want someone who can make me laugh, who can enjoy a comfortable silence as well as a good conversation, who appreciates the simple and creative things in life, who hates rap music, despises junk food and fast food, and loathes most sitcoms. I’m independent and smart, and I won’t put up with someone who is controlling.
I’d like for you to enjoy my friends and me to enjoy yours. I’m not into any spectator sports these days, but I could tell you more than you would ever want to know about motorsports. I might agree to go to a game or two, but I want someone who’s willing to go without me when he wants to do something I don’t, and vice versa. I need alone time. Trust and friendship are extremely important to me. Without them, there can be nothing else.
This picture is from about 15 pounds ago, looks like last spring. I donated those jeans ages ago, because they were falling off. I don't get my picture taken much; I'm usually taking pictures of everyone else. I stopped eating meat about a year ago right after my friend died; don't really have a reason, but I'm happy without it.
