I have just moved back to Portland after quite an adventure...Don't believe what they say, not all adventures are good adventures  Looking forward to settling back in. I missed it here and all that there is to do here! I am glad to be back near friends and family, for sure!
I am pretty much an all-around kind of gal.Between Dad and my 3 older brothers, I learned to get my hands dirty. Kind of a tomboy type. I am originally from the Mid-west and carry a lot of those hometown values. I have been in transportation all of my life, so if you are looking for meek, timid and ultra-girlie, not here. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm NOT girlie, just not 24/7. I like to camp, fish , go shooting, that kind of stuff. I know a lot of gals who don't, so I guess that says something.. 
I cry at sad movies but hardly ever when I crack my knuckle working on my car. I prefer NHRA to Nascar and football to baseball. I believe in God, Family and Country and Pride. I am a fairly good shot a pool and hope to work on getting my band back together now that I am back home.
These days I prefer home on the deck vs. out in the bar. I would rather relax at home with good friends, food, drink and music than to hang out in a drama-fest that most bars have become. A good sports bar is a better fit for me than a dance club, if I do go out. (I think it's the sports thing) 
When I am not doing the above, I spend time at home playing an online game with friends. I have been doing this for the last couple of years and really enjoy it.
