How does one describe one's self...hmm.....I am a outgoing type "A" person that enjoys new challenges, and adventures. I might be described by some as a writer, poet, musician, outdoorsman, explorer, intellectual, mentor, but most importantly a true friend. I've been divorced for quite some time, and haven't been dating with any regularity owning mostly to my work schedule. I don't do the bar scene, but enjoy live blues & a few brews on occasion. I enjoy the outdoors and spend much of my free time backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, (well...I guess you get the idea).
I believe we are to give back to the community/individuals in measure to the blessings we receive and have devoted time to feeding the homeless, mentoring Boy Scouts, among other altruistic pursuits. Call me an idealist but having a lust for life....that is enjoying the moment....every moment is in part what life is about. I might also be coined as a bit of a romantic for I do know how to "court" (BTW - that is a dying art you know :0) The right lady.
I am seeking friends first and then let things take their course perhaps toward a long term to permanent relationship with a truly remarkable woman that compliments my character/personality. She should be physically fit and as comfortable in carrying a 30 pound backpack for miles as she is graceful on the dance floor. This remarkable persona should encompass all the attributes of the fairer gender...... humor, empathy, integrity, honesty but also have a bit of the pioneer spirit, and a sense for spontaneity.
