Welcome to the enchanted world of Nick...well, I'm not sure how enchanting it is, but it is me. I'm a 26 year old guy, trying to get my life back in order after quite a few bumps and bruises to the heart this year. I'm a singer/songwriter, a poet, a novelist, if its writing, its what I love to do. I currently hold two degrees in Communications, with a return to school in January for my Master's Degree. I'm a bit of a romantic sap, I laugh and cry at romantic comedies, I love to sing and write things for the woman I love, I'd like to think I can be witty and charming when I'm given the opportunity to express myself. I've played the trumpet for 15 years, I'm a family person rich in Italian and Slovak traditions, especially during the holidays. I'm holding a retail job right now, been in retail since I was 17, but I'd rather be a journalist somewhere, its what I'm good at. I enjoy a nice cup of coffee or glass of red wine every once in a while with a good book. I collect coins, video games, and when I'm not doing these things, I'm usually out with friends or practicing my music with my band. I'm not a "religious fanatic" or anything like that, but I do acknowledge God in my life, and I do pray for my hopes and dreams and those of my friends and people I happen to come across in this life, just a nice thing to do.
As far as what I'm looking for, there's quite a few things you need to know if you're planning on starting a relationship with me. Laugh. If you don't have a good sense of humor, I don't know how to say it, but you'll be lost in my witty, dry, and sometimes random and goofy humor. Don't take yourself too seriously. Admit your mistakes, say you're sorry, and don't lie, I'm an open guy, I can take it if you don't like something or are having a problem with the relationship, just don't expect me to read your mind. Don't use me, I have a good heart, with a lot of love to give, and I give 110% to my relationships, but I expect you give the same. Sure, you should have your own life too, your own identity from the relationship, but when we're together, I want to know I'm loved, I want to put my heart in your hands and trust you. Be understanding, respectful and patient with me, and you'll get the same in return. Be romantically open, so we can dance in the rain, look at the stars, cuddle, kiss, wherever the love and passion leads us, I want to know you're there with me. Don't treat me like I'm stupid, because I'm not. Be into public displays of affection, even if its just holding hands or sharing a small hug. If you're a bit younger than me, like 18-19, don't get involved with me unless you feel you're mature enough and ready for someone who can be a bit intense with how much he'll love and care for you. I'm not trying to call anyone immature, I'm just saying, I've had my problems in the past with younger women, and I have nothing against them, I just don't want to be hurt anymore by young women who don't have the slightest clue what they're getting into.
